Biography
Julia began her career as a Laboratory Technician apprentice, which inspired her to pursue a career within science and engineering. Having graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2024 with a First Class Honours in Forensic Chemistry she then progressed into a Master of Science in Materials Science & Engineering at The University of Sheffield, graduating with a Merit in 2025. Throughout her time at university, she worked as an intern at various climate tech companies and completed key modules such as ‘Fire, Explosives and Nuclear Forensics’ and ‘Heat and Materials with Application’.
Julia began her fire engineering career in 2025 and is enjoying developing her knowledge and experience within the field.
